Lyn Sullivan is an urban photographer who captures the essence of cities and the contradictions that lie within them. Her bodies of work are shot in large metropolitan cities.  In her two most recent series “UrbanGreen” and  “MannHands”, her eye is set on the juxtaposition of man-made structures and the human elements revealed through them.  She studied fine arts at Webster College in St. Louis, and has been a student of the arts throughout her life.  Sullivan’s photographs have been exhibited in solo and group shows, and are part of corporate and private collections in the United States and France.  Her past and present affiliations include the Houston Center of Photography, Menil Collection, Houston; International Center of Photography, New York; Museum of Modern Art, New York and Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego.  Lyn Sullivan resides in Houston, Texas.
